Guided cycling along the beautiful Greenways trail connecting the Czech Republic and Austria. The Greenways cycle trails link the iconic cities of Prague and Vienna through a network of peaceful country roads and dedicated paths. This trip explores the southern stretch, starting in the wooded hills near Cesky Krumlov and tracing a scenic route along the Czech–Austrian border. Along the way, you’ll pass through medieval towns where castles tower above cobbled squares, ride through national parks and rolling vineyards, and soak up the charm of rural life. Crossing into Austria at the historic town of Mikulov, the journey continues through quiet villages and vine-covered landscapes, finishing in the elegant and culturally rich city of Vienna.

day 1Transfer from Prague to Cesky Krumlov, arrival briefing and arrival dinner

Transfer to Cesky Krumlov (185km/110mi) from a specified hotel in Prague at approximately 9am. We recommend that you spend the night before the tour in Prague - we can assist with hotel bookings.
There will be free time for sightseeing in Cesky Krumlov, one of Europe’s best preserved medieval towns. Welcome briefing with the group and dinner at a restaurant.
