day 1 - Nairobi - Masai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport at 7:00am by our company representative, who will brief you before departure. Depart Nairobi soon after the safari brief, driving through the scenic Rift Valley to Masai Mara. You will have breathtaking views of hills, grasslands, extinct volcanoes and wheat plantations on the way.

Arrive in Masai Mara world’s famous game reserve at 1300hrs just on time for lunch at the Ilkeliani Camp. Relax and get ready for a late afternoon game drive that starts at 1600hrs till 1830hrs. Your game drive will make you understand why Masai Mara is the most famous national reserve in the world. You will be surprised by the concentration of wildlife in this reserve.

Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

day 2 - Masai Mara Full Day

Spend the entire day exploring this world famous game reserve with packed picnic lunch. The reserve is set on a classic African savannah and its astounding density of wildlife makes Ilkeliani Camp one of the most visited reserves in the world.

The reserve covers an area of approximately 1,510 sq km of open grassland fed by the Mara River and its tributary Talek. Here it is very common to see the big cats hunting. The leopard is the hardest to spot of the famous Big Five, but in Mara it not as hard to see it relaxing on a tree.

Hippos, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes also exist in large numbers.

Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

day 3 - Masai Mara - Nairobi

Rise up early for your last game drive and later return to the camp for a full breakfast. Check out and depart for Nairobi, where you will reach in the evening.
