You get what you expect from Contiki. The trip was very well organized by the trip manager, who was also very friendly and knowledgeable. For my personal liking, it could have been shortened by starting in Denver or Albuquerque, since the days before are mostly about driving with only one free-time activity. The activities in general are a lot of fun, but you can still have a great time if you choose not to join them, as the national parks themselves offer plenty to do. I strongly recommend the jeep tour in Moab, though. All the hotels are at least solid, if not better. Note that this trip is part of the larger USA road trip, so you’ll be joining a group that has already been traveling together for 11 days and has seen many people come and go along the way.
I loved this trip! Seeing the national parks was a huge bucket list moment for me and I met some of my best friends on this trip. Denver was a waste—not much to do there and I wish we’d spent more time in the actual national parks versus all the time spent in Amarillo, Albuquerque, and Denver. Our guide, was incredible although a little unprofessional with language but she was so cool. Definitely recommend!
