Check out of your hotel is set for later this afternoon. Begin your day 2.5 hours before sunrise with a steep hike to Pha Daeng Viewpoint, arguably the best lookout point in the country. After returning to your hotel for a well-earned rest, walk to the dock just outside and enjoy a boat ride along the Nam Ou River.
Upon arrival, explore Pha Noy Cave on a guided tour. Then continue on foot to the cave’s viewpoint, a spot that impresses even the most tired hikers. Conclude the visit with a walk to the charming village of Muang Ngoi Neua, where you can explore the main street dotted with local shops. Return by boat to Nong Khiaw, and then travel by land back to your hotel in Luang Prabang.
