Jackson Hole is a really interesting little town. The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone were beautiful. We thought Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore were very cool. It's so much more to see them in person.
So exciting seeing so many sites ! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable & professional. He knew the best spots to stop, got us to places on time( Old Faithful erupted just as he predicted) , I can’t say enough about him !
With a name like Costsaver, we knew we were not going to be staying at the Ritz Carlton. After all, we were there to see the National Parks not the hotels. Accommodations were clean and friendly with most stays including breakfast in the morning. The itinerary was exactly what we were looking for. We got to see so many National Parks and so many animals! It was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken.
Brilliant. So many wonderful national parks, each feeling different from the one before. We couldn't go to Battle of Little Bighorn so instead went to Devil's Tower, which was arguably even better. See more at welshmattsmith.blogspot.com
The Wild West tour was excellent. There were seven members of my family on this trip, ranging from 10 years old to 84 years old, and we all enjoyed the natural wonders, animal sightings, tour guide insights and stories, and activities. There were spectacular scenes on the Snake river, Grand Tetons, and Badlands. The bus was comfortable and the tour guide and driver excellent.
It is not for the faint of heart. You will get on and off the bus at least 4 times a day. There is some walking involved at most stops and there are steps on the bus. In addition, you will have to transport your luggage to and from your room each night and morning. There are also optional hikes that can be taken as your fitness allows. For example, there is a 1.6 mile trail around the base of Devil’s Tower. This has some ups and downs, so some stamina is needed to complete this optional walk, though you can see the tower without walking the trail.
