Prague Tours and Trips

It was easy paced, but still covered a lot of sites. The optional offers were great for us in Budapest as we weren’t as familiar with the city, while we could go on our own in Vienna and Prague. Our main guide was fantastic and kept us informed and moving the whole time, while the local guides were all experts and gave us a great feel for all three stops.

This trip provided optional activities to make the tour more or less active. We participated in all but two optional tours and felt the trip moderately active. A very nice pace to take in thr history, environment and local culture. It was truly a wonderful trip and the local tour guides exceptional.

It was a great way to experience several countries I hadn't been to before. Also, I feel I can select future trips to those places I wish to see more of.

The itinerary balanced free time (for personal interests) with amazing guided tours with local experts. The optional experiences were well worth it and revealed amazing views / experiences that otherwise would never have been found.

All sites visited were historical, impressive, memorable. Our tour guide’s knowledge of these sites was extensive and he relayed all history in a manner we could easily understand. We also visited an Ossuary near Prague, catacombs under St. Stephen’s Chapel in Vienna, The Shoes on the Danube in Budapest, along with the Hospital In The Rock, The House of Houdini. Saw the Vienna Boys Choir after a mass delivered in German and Latin, that we understood not a word of, in Vienna. The entire experience was wonderful, very worthwhile!!!

This itinerary provided a good combination of educational and recreational activities. We explored the sites, and even when a site was not open as planned, our travel director was able to pivot and offer another location. Tafalgar always includes churches on its itineraries, it was nice that this itinerary also included synagogues, which is a rare occurrence.
