Everyone who worked there was always happy and they were all super friendly and approachable. They also knew the flora and fauna really well, and could both spot and identify animals from a distance for us to see. I felt very safe at the night hikes with our guide and when it rained they had great rain boots for us.
The beds were comfortable and it was nice having a mosquito net on the bed. I liked how the cabins were kind of open-air so we always had fresh air and could hear the sounds of nature all the time.
They didn't have much hot shower water, but that's because it's always insanely hot and humid there so there's no need.
Bring a good rain poncho and clothes you don't mind getting a little muddy.
Finally, while we didn't have any service, we actually really liked being completely cut off from the rest of the world for a few days. It was very relaxing and forced us to always be present."
