My guide, Rammesh, was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, caring, and made the trek feel smooth, safe, and deeply meaningful. I can’t imagine a better guide.

Just completed the Gokyo Lakes, Gokyo Ri, Cho-La and EBC treks with this local travel expert and had an unforgettable experience. Throughout the whole process Chhatra was an impressive communicator - very responsive, simple, clear and informative. Our guide (Rinji) and porter (also Rinji !!) were incredibly flexible in helping us make the impossible, possible - whilst always looking out for our health and wellbeing. I cannot more highly recommend this agency for your Himalaya adventure - the whole team was truly incredible - experienced, knowledgable and well connected to all the best places to stay along the way. We did the 4-day Kathmandu valley trek and it was one of the most indelible and life-changing experiences. The trek encompasses so much more than just the view itself (which is ethereal!) -- you get to meet and interact with locals that would welcome you to take a basum (a break) on their porch, taste authentic Nepali cuisines, and maybe even pick up a few Nepali phrases. The company did a wonderful job communicating with us and catering to our questions and concerns throughout the trip. Big shoutout to our guide Bibek for being literally the best Dai/teacher one could ask for! I would definitely recommend touring/trekking with this local travel specialist and specifically appoint Bibek as your guide if that could be arranged! Dhan Yavad Feri bhetaula🙏🙏🙇🙇

I booked this trek at quite short notice in September 2018.
My schedule was a bit tight so I had to cut the trip short from the standard 12 days down to 11, but this was no problem for Friends adventure who were able to fit the trek in plus an extra day of whitewater rafting as well.
Hira, my guide, was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly and made sure everything went to plan, so that I managed to make it to Base Camp and Kala Pathar as well (and I'm an unfit 50 year old who hadn't really done enough training).
The trek itself was spectacular and everything I'd hoped it would be.
I would definitely recommend Friends Adventure to anyone planning a trip to Nepal.

Guide and Porter were excellent. Lodging exceeded expectations. Although the weather wasn't great, our experience is one that will stick with us for a lifetime. We were able to change our route to cater to our group and take it easy when we needed to. So grateful to Raj and Sandip for all that they did along the way.

This local travel specialist was an excellent choice for our big adventure trip to Everest base camp. I did a lot of research before booking a trip and saw that they had the best reviews online. Our guide Ram and assistant Rabi were amazing. They made the trip even better. They were very caring and helpful. They choose a best guest house in all locations, and we did not have to worry about where to stay, what to eat etc. I highly recommend this agency and will hopefully get a chance to use them again!
