“I did the Annapurna base camp trek solo as a first trek. I had an excellent experience—communication beforehand was very clear and all my questions answered. Arrangements went smoothly from airport pick up to hotel and transport. I felt safe and well supported as a single woman. I was ill on the first day and both owner and guide were very caring. My guide, Sumba, was lovely. He looked after me every step of the way and took care of all the practicalities. Also the porter Kiran. I was very grateful to him for carrying my bag all the way up to base camp! I was able to realise my dream and reach the base camp and it would not have been possible without them.”

During the trip, we had the opportunity to explore numerous monasteries, experience the Tibetan way of life and culture, and visit high-altitude Himalayan settlements. We were also lucky enough to witness stunning views of snow-capped peaks, pristine forests, and crystal-clear rivers along the way. The colors of the autumn leaves added to the beauty of the landscape, creating a truly unforgettable experience. Overall, the Nar Phu Valley Trek in autumn was a journey that not only challenged us physically but also enriched our minds and souls with the rich cultural and natural treasures of the region.”
