Lynsey was the best Tour Manger ever! Joyful, informative and enthusiastic! She was a true ambassador for her amazing country of Scotland! One of my favorite Tours ever, having been immersed in Scottish culture by a daughter who was extremely proud of her roots!

Great overview of Ireland and Scotland with many surprises included. First time I’ve used Insight and found them as good as Tauck. Much of the credit goes to our great travel guide, Anna. She was superb!

It was thought out very nicely and enough knowledge about what the area offered. Our tour guide was wonderful and made the trip so realistic and knew the small history, local and historical. She was by far the best guide I have been with on such a trip

Tour guide was ABSOLUTELY awesome. Hard to pick one experience but she included some little-known options like the sacred wells/springs from way back in Gaelic history. Learning about the culture (through GAA games, description of architecture, etc.) was something I likely would have missed if I had gone on my own. THe thing I did not like (but which worked out) was that I understood our tour group was 6 people but that we needed 12 for a liaison. When I asked what this meant, I did not get an explanation that we'd be merged into a much larger group. I did not prefer being far away from towns for hotels such as Rine and Gerryvoe. Trinity City in Dublin was great. Upper level staff at Rine was also now very aware of how customer service is supposed to work. The actual servers and next level down employees were great. Just the top dogs acted like you were rather an encumbrance to be managed. Tour gets 5 starts largely because our tour guide, our bus driver and the places visited. Food was variable as was hotel.

This itinerary was perfectly paced, allowing us to visit so many wonderful cities and small villages without ever spending too much time on the bus. Stops were included for photo ops and bathroom breaks. Our one night stops were alternated with two night stops which allowed a chance to rest up, really dig into the cities - especially Belfast - and allow some alone or shopping time.

What a lovely tour of Ireland. It would be great to extend the trip beyond a week as it felt very rushed especially if we were joining the add on options, we didn't have time to explore the city that day.
