Stephanie and Ivor were a great team. Stephanie went out of her way to ensure we were immersed in the local culture, and to cover all the historical sites with related information. Stephanie had an amazing ability to keep the group organized and moving. She, as well as the company partners, really stepped up to ensure we were comfortable and able to continue our travels in the face of a significantly unexpected, stressful situation, illness of Ivor in the midst of our road trip.
Ireland is a beautiful country. Tour guide John Fitzgibbon was hospitable , informative and just fun to be around. Driver was excellent. Would have liked air conditioning in all hotels. Overall Hotels were very nice and comfortable. The gardens and sights we saw will forever be with me. I would recommend this tour.
The tour guide was very friendly and engaged. The itinerary was very good although i would have liked to have stopped at St. Andrews. I did enjoy all the stops along the trip. The Castle in Inverness should be added as an included stop. The Castles renovation was amazingly completed. The final stop in Endinburgh was all I expected and more. The season was perfect.
Gerry was an absolute delight—full of interesting anecdotes and facts. He added in several splash and dash extras that were really appreciated. At times his Irish accent and rambling stories were hard to follow, but his charm and sends of humor won me over. The seat movements around the bus were disorganized and not enforced—a bit frustrating at times. The itinerary of this tour was full—we covered a lot of ground and saw lots of sites. We absolutely needed more time at Titanic museum. Hurried through the history, but still didn't finish the tour. 3 hour minimum is needed—traveled all the way to see this and missed so much! Also needed more time at Bunratty—never had time to explore much of the village. Hotel in Dublin was quite a distance out of town, although it was a 15 minute fast walk to the metro. It would have been better to be closer into town or near pubs, etc, rather than in the boonies. All the hotels were good! Appreciated breakfast daily. Was a bit underwh
most memorable experience was taking a train (on our own) to see a lighthouse. On our return trip, an Irish couple (about our same age) asked if they could sit with us. That impromptu event gave us about 30 minutes of extreme pleasure, having that couple ask to join us (complete strangers). Our conversation gave both couples plenty of information on each other. A-plus event.
The Irish people are so very nice. The sites and sounds in history of Ireland were made clear by our tour manager. I went with family and that was great family time. The Cliffs of Moher are beautiful. It was a great tour.
