An experience so far removed from my daily routine that I relaxed completely despite the early starts. You can't underestimate the sensation of being amid lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, baboons - and much, much more - in their natural habitat.

I have done some trekking in the Himalaya range and found this much more challenging. The weather was rough for a few days and you need to be very careful in some areas. I would prep more physically I think if I try again but I was able to summit. The guide was awesome, very motivational yet flexible. The porter and cook were great as well, the food was definitely more varied than what I've had for previous treks. On the clear nights you really can't beat the views. Highly Recommend

I did Kilimanjaro Machame 7 days with my teenage son and husband, and I am still enchanted by the whole experience. I was happy and very impressed when we met the tour company team because they were so thorough and well prepared to host my family. Nothing was left to chance from checking and rechecking to make sure we had everything we required for the trek. No one should deceive you that the trek is easy, it takes good fitness, proper nourishment and a good team to beat the mountain. Luckily, we were paired with Evance and Leon his able assistant. Between them they have completed over 500 successful treks and know everything there is to know about Kilimanjaro. They kept a good pace that we did not struggle with. Both were good company and I rather enjoyed the stories narrated by Evance, he is hilarious and we didn’t seem to tire while we listened. The changing scenery made beautiful viewing leading to the snow cap at the summit. The three of us made it to the summit and I owe it all to the care and support from the company. I have absolute trust that they can get anybody to the summit. They did not spare or cut any corners with us. Food was plentiful and well prepared, equipment in tip top condition and an experienced crew that could handle any issue arising. Even in my future safari I’ll use this company. Asante sana!
