A good introduction to Morocco. Blessed by fantastic weather the trip was a great (short) escape from the doom and gloom of the UK. Marrakech was busy, vibrant and fun; the slower pace of life in the mountains was a complete contrast. Not many spending opportunities and no-one seemed to miss the typical UK Christmas excess. Hot showers at the gite and freshly cooked delicious food. Even became accustomed to the morning porridge and herb teas.
Exciting trip to Morocco for a family of three The trip was very well planned and executed. We really enjoyed hotels that the local travel specialist chose for us. The driver was very knowledgeable, kind and professional, we always felt safe with him. Highlights were numerous, but Sahara probably stands out as an exceptional experience.
I have just returned from my weeks trekking in the Atlas Mountains, 3-10th September. All I can say is the experience was everything I hoped it to be. The staff at Exodus have been fabulous. Said our guide was fabulous, and the group of people brilliant despite mixed abilities. What I can say is that I did prepare for this trip and would not have been able to have done it if I hadn't spent time improving my overall physical fitness.
I am ready to book my next trip with this company already...looking to go to the Simien Mountains Trekking,
