A skiing holiday with all the positives As a veteran of 8 cross-country skiing holidays with this tour company, I found Kamben to be the best combination of all the elements needed for a successful trip. Its the location Im most likely to visit again or recommend to others. The routes, which are mostly skiable direct from the hotel, range from easier tracks with picnic huts, to undulating forest routes, to high hills with great views, all with the best signposting Ive seen.
My fiancé and I just completed the Everest Base Camp trek. We were a little worried as it was monsoon season, but everyone was super accommodating and nice. Our guide, Lal, truly made this experience a once in a lifetime. He is very knowledgeable about the area, open to any and all questions, kept a great pace during the trek, and was great company at night with fun conversations over tea. All the tea houses were great, clean and had amazing food. Would highly recommend this trek and the local travel expert.
I did Manaslu Circuit Trek in group joining. We were 11 in our group and had even one assistant guide as promised. Even the porters were so friendly with us. I think nobody ever can give the best trip brief. Our guides and porters really friendly. Their motivation and confidence gave us energy and completion of our trek. More than that let me talk about the guide. Man, he was such a strong guy. He cleared landslides at some places himself. He served us food by himself, I know in mountains guides have to, but he made sure that we were happy. He was even trained for higher altitudes due to which he knew how much our pace should have been in the Manaslu region.
