“I'd been to the island before and stayed in Valle Gran Rey and used buses to get out and about. With this trip I moved around the island more and saw some areas that I'd not been to which might have been tricker to see on my own on public transport. The knowledge that Sherpa had of the island helped with John having lived there for 20+ years. The accommdoation provided was excellent and the notes were pretty much spot on. All the pickups worked perfectly as well and my luggage went were it was supposed to, so no problems there either. I did a fair bit of extra walking on the two "free" days around Playa de Santiago and in the afternoons on a couple of days when I finished with a bit of time to spare. I love the island and I'll be back!”

“Best of the Camino is exactly what this trip was! Each day's walk was through some wonderful scenery and interesting places. Then we travelled on the tour bus past many long stretches of the Camino that would have been very uninteresting to walk, many of them right beside the busy main road. This trip was so well planned and both our guide and our driver were brilliant, so friendly and helpful.”

Our guide was excellent, the hotels we stayed in and restaurants we ate at were very good, and it was great to have the organised tours along the way. This meant it wasn't just a great walk but also a very informative and enjoyable trip.”
