Lo Mathang is a highlight with the old walled city - the visit to the Monastries was a highlight. The jeep track back down was better than any roller coaster we've been on - definitely not for the faint hearted. It is presently being widened to 5m all the way from Jomsom to the Tibetan boarder so expect this "lost valley" to become a lot busier in the years to come.”

The landscape is pure and you will find villages along the way with people living and there you will find your guest house waiting with a bed and good nepali food.

After a long research I piked up Unique Adventure. They looked like they know what they were doing and the price was very competitive. Mr Khum Subedi the man in charge was quick to answer my mails and available to my requests. I payed half from Europe with a bank transfer and gave the rest when in Katmandu almost 6 months later. I went with an experienced guide named Ram and a porter included. The accommodations were fine. All guest houses well experienced and some really real Mustang home life. The places are amazing.
