“Bhutan is such a beautiful county and what makes it more beautiful are the people and it’s culture . Right from the moment we landed to the beautiful airport at Paro, we immediately felt like we were visiting home . Our constant companions during the 8 night tour were our guides -Namgey and Kilay who went out of their way to make sure that we were enjoying every bit of our trip . The climb is to Tigers Nest which was challenging -I don’t think I would have managed to complete it without the constant encouragement and support of both of them . They became like family by the time we ended the tour. And October 7th was my birthday and while having breakfast at hotel Mr Thinley who manages the agency and with whom I had been interacting all those months turned up at the hotel with some birthday gifts for me as well as for my wife and daughter - it was such a sweet gesture and so unexpected . We just can't wait to go back .”

“The tour was very beautifully crafted and we explored the most beautiful parts of the kingdom of Bhutan. Me and my wife are both hikers and love to explore the wilderness. And theres nothing like exploring the far flung dragon kingdom of Bhutan. Our 2019 Bhutan tour was the most amazing so far among all our trips around the world.We started off by arriving at Paro Airport, a wonderful lush valley surrounded by high mountains. It was a world out of this world. The drive from Paro to Thimphu unfolded numerous sacred temples in exotic locations. The Tachog Lhakhang was one of our favorite with mystical energy in an ancient set up. We also added 2 nights stay in Punakha valley to the Bhutan Walking & Hiking Tour. We hiked to Lungchutse Gompa from Dochula Pass on our way from Thimphu to Punakha. From the Gompa the view was epic (on top the world); we have commanding view of the Punakha and Wangdue valley and bird eye view of some highest snow covered peaks.The hike to Zuri in Paro was leisure one but the trail offers wonderful opportunities to capture the verdant Paro valley and Paro Dzong. There were ample of other hikes that we have equally enjoyed such as:Chelela Pass to Kila Gompa hikeJungney Dra hike in HaaTango and Chari Monastery in ThimphuKhamsum Yulley Hike in Punakha The Epic Tigers Nest Monastery (must visit )We have also covered cultural sightseeing places such as:Buddha DordenmaChangangkha Lhakhang National Memorial Chorten Painting SchoolTraditional Medicinal hospital Paro Museum Punakha Dzong (must visit)Sangchen Nunnery in Punakha White and Black temple in Haa etc. The local travel specialist has been so accommodating with our ever evolving changes in the itinerary even after our arrival. “The trek started from a remote village in Thimphu and the trekking trail offered breathtaking views of gorgeous mountains. We were able to see the entire Himalayan ranges and came across plentiful of crystalline lakes. The 5 days trek was not very strenuous and we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and tranquility of secluded mountains high above sea level. The tour ended with a hike the signature spot of Bhutan, Paro Taktsang which was a great experience. The highlights of the tour were mountains- lakes and Taktsang”
