We had basic information from various sources like almost all tourists, but the landscape, culture and people still surprised us, of course in a positive way. “I am big on fitness and love hiking. I took my trip to the marvelous jewels of the Himalayan Kingdom, Bhutan over a year ago. I feel privileged to have been a part of their rare and unique culture besides the awe-inspiring natural beauty.The high altitude hike from the 4000 meters Chelela pass to Kila Nunnery was my top favorite. The path was deep in the forest and was showered with rhododendron flowers along the way. About Bhutan as a whole, I couldnt say better things say or describe. It was marvelous.”
