The Mara offers perhaps the richest stock reserve on earth: an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebras but there are resident wildlife year round.
Lake Nakuru National Park has scenic views of both Lake Naivasha and Lake Elementaita en route, which lie in the Great Rift Valley.
