He timed the site visits perfectly so we were easily able to spend time at the Moorish Castle, Pena Palace, and Quinta da Regaleira in one day, with a break for a delicious lunch in Sintra and a stop to wander in town. “We enjoyed our tour with Pedro very much. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Portugal, enthusiastic, and friendly. He packed a lot into the tour. We stopped at four places - a typical Portuguese bakery to eat custard desserts, the best beer hall in Lisbon (it was once a convent), a seafood restaurant where we got to taste typical Portuguese seafood and vinho verde, and a butcher/cheese shop to try local cheeses and drink a cherry liqueur. I learned a lot about the history of Portugal which I found to be very interesting. If you happen to have Pedro as your guide you will very satisfied with your tour.”
