“Our trek to Gokyo Lakes and Renjo La was made all the more special by the outstanding care and individual attention we were given by our trek leader, sherpa guides, cook and porters. The views on this trek are outstanding and the path to Gokyo is much quieter than the busy EBC trek. We were lucky to have a small group of like minded individuals who were also respectful and considerate travellers whilst possessing the most important ingredient - a sense of humour.”

“What an amazing and breathtaking (in more ways than one) trek. Words cannot express how brilliant everything about this trek was. Randeep our leader was second to none he made every moment special and shared with us his extensive knowledge and deep love of the area. He united the group and his team so that at the end it was like leaving family, a remarkable young man. The sherpa guides looked after us exceptionally well anticipating our every need, always cheerful and attentive- special thanks to DB. Everything about the trek was extraordinary, the food was fabulous, fresh, plentiful and very nutritious - well done cook. The camping was magical especially High camp - an experience I will never forget - minus 15 degrees at 6.30am watching the sunrise over Everest. The trekking took us to beautiful passes and paths especially on the acclimatisation trips. But the highlight had to be achieving the summit of Gokyo Ri and then crossing the Renjo La pass all in the most perfect weather conditions. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour operator to anyone considering any expedition and I would particularly recommend this trek. Well done to everyone involved and thank you so much for a trip of a lifetime. UK females aged 62 and 64!”

“Thanks to our tour operator for a terrific trek up to Gokyo and over the Renjo La. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Many thanks to Dilli (our leader) and the whole team for working really hard to look after us. Pemba and the kitchen boys kept us well fed and healthy - including the surreal picnic lunch on the way down from Renjo La in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. Birbal (Sirdar) managed the logistics with a smile and our sherpa guides Mahabir, Bhala and Prokas kept us moving with the right combination jum-jums and slowly-slowlys. The weather was kind and my photos are fantastic. Definitely worth the effort - for both the views and the cultural experience.”
