Peru Honeymoon Reviews

5 - Excellent

Would definitely recommend Say Hueque to my friends
5 - Excellent
  • Michelle Chong
“All the hotels are pretty good and breakfast provided was reasonably good. No big issue with any of the hotels. Machu Piccu and Iguazu Falls( Argentina side) are definitely the highlights. The guide in Machu Piccu is outstanding as his description of the place is interesting and in great details. Unfortunately I didnt remember his name. Definitely a wonderful knowledgeable young gentlemen. Diago(not sure if I got the name right.) is also an excellent guide. He knows the place very well and brought us to all the wonderful spots and managed to avoid or bit the crowds! A very caring person and likes to joke around which made the tour very interesting. There is nothing that did not meet our expectation. Although there was a bit of hiccups in our trip, somehow things were resolved, so no fuss. I do want to comment that the trip was well organised by the local tour company. Everyone in every place has been very punctual, helpful and polite. Patricia and myself would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in making our travel memorable. Would definitely recommend this company to my friends.”
Wonderful trip

“All hotels were great. I do not really have favorite. My absolutely favorite guide was Fernando on Inca Trail. Extremely knowledgeable, great attitude, very helpful and showed personal interest in each traveler. The only thing is that perhaps we could have been given a choice of less expensive hotels. All the hotels were fantastic, but we do not really require that level of luxury Thank you so much for such a wonderful trip!”
Amazing!

“You coordinated the land content, local transfers and flights to make it a smooth trip with minimal overlaps and provided good contact details for us to use if we were in difficulty. Our favourite hotel was Aranwa Scared Valley. The hotel was very well designed. The rooms were spacious, modern and had all the extras you would see in a good 5 star hotel. The grounds were well maintained and the landscaping was very interesting. Besides a theatre with evening shows and popcorn, there was an art gallery, well restored church, great pool area and many dining options. The staff were always helpful and worked well with our travel agent manage our bags left behind. The day trip to Machu Picchu, was the best!”

Highlights of Peru honeymoon tours

  • Catch a swell and surf together on the northern beaches of Peru, including Mancora, Punta Sal, Vichayito, and Las Pocitas. Glide across peeling waves with your new partner and warm up afterward around a toasty campfire.
  • Enjoy a romantic horseback ride through the picturesque Colca Canyon, surrounded by Andean mountains, stunning valley views, and hot springs to relax in afterward.

Travel tips for honeymoon tours in Peru

  • Give yourself plenty of time to travel around Peru. It’s a great country, filled with sights, and when you’re on your honeymoon, you’ll want to see it all. Make sure you give yourself at least 10 days to explore Peru.
  • If you’re on a guided tour of Peru, make sure to ask your guide for the best romantic restaurants in your area. They’ll know the best ceviche joints that are perfect for a romantic meal!
  • If you’re looking for a honeymoon in Peru on a budget, opt for the rainy season of December to March. Although the south might not be ideal, if you’re looking for a coastal or northern Peru honeymoon, this is when all the great swells and warm beach weather appear!
  • Make sure you keep your valuables hidden when you’re heading around the main sights like Cusco’s market and downtown Lima. Although Peru is largely safe, there is still plenty of petty crime and pickpocketing. Perhaps keep your nice, new engagement ring in the hotel safe!
