The whole experience was well thought out from being picked up from the airport, meeting Khum, the company owner, receiving a briefing and being able to ask any questions. Our tour guide, Raz, was very supportive, attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had the best and smoothest experience possible. He was very patient with us when we were exhausted and was key to us reaching Everest base Camp healthy and in good spirits. Our porter, Teelak, never failed to greet us with a smile. “I did the Annapurna base camp trek solo as a first trek. I had an excellent experience— communication beforehand was very clear and all my questions answered. Arrangements went smoothly from airport pick up to hotel and transport. I felt safe and well supported as a single woman. I was ill on the first day and both owner and guide were very caring. My guide, Sumba was lovely—he looked after me every step of the way and took care of all the practicalities. Also the porter Kiran. I was very grateful to him for carrying my bag all the way up to base camp! I was able to realise my dream and reach the base camp and it would not have been possible without them.”
