This 17-day Manaslu Trek (also known as the Manaslu Circuit Trek) is a remote trek around Manaslu, eighth highest peak in the world. This is a relatively new trekking route and is gaining popularity among trekkers all over.

While the Annapurna Circuit Trek is now disrupted by on-going construction of motor roads, the Manaslu Circuit Trek is the perfect alternative to Annapurna Circuit. For those who do not want to walk on the dusty roads of the Annapurna Circuit, the Manaslu Circuit is the perfect alternative with a similar route, similar views and similar experiences.

With newly developed small tea houses along the route, Manaslu Trek has become a lot easier for trekkers to acquire accommodation and meals. the Manaslu Circuit Trek explores small Buddhist villages with spectacular scenery of snowy peaks, thundering rivers, high passes, wildlife and different Himalayan flowers including the beautiful rhododendrons.

The Manaslu trek will lead you to the highest land attached to Tibet with some opportunities to experience Tibetan-influenced cultures and faiths.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is getting more and more popular among trekkers as a new trekking route . Manaslu Trekking is a restricted trekking route, you need to use a government licensed trekking agency with private staffs. You can not do independent trekking in this area. Larke (Larkye) La Pass (5,106 meters) is the most difficult point of the trek but it's not worse, weather conditions allowing to cross and meet Annapurna circuit route.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is the premier moderate-to-difficult grade trekking route in Nepal in terms of mountains, authentic culture and enjoyment. This trek gives you the opportunity to see untouched beauty of nature, gives you your own pace for the walk and lets you experience the life of people in the mountains.

A beautiful trekking route different than Annapurna

“My name is August and I am from Germany. I did Manaslu Trek with my wife on 2016 October with Himalayan Leisure. I did Annapurna Trek in the past and this time I wanted to go to less crowded trek and Manaslu was great option. We were not favored by weather for first few days but everything came to our side once we reached Samagaon. The weather started to become perfect and the views were incredible. I would recommend Manaslu Trek for everyone looking for less commercialized trekking in Nepal. Enjoy being in the Himalayas!”
My Fantastic trip to Manaslu!

“I booked the 17 day trek around the Manaslu circuit, it was amazing and one of the best experiences of my life. I went with my friend Scott, the owner of the company Upendra was awesome, a very friendly and helpful guy who from the moment he contacted me about the trek sorted everything out for me and it was super easy to book the trek!

Once we arrived to Kathmandu, Upendra picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel, then the next day he took us to dinner were we met our guide Suman.

The next day we set off with Suman, he is a very nice man and a fantastic guide with great knowledge of the entire Manaslu region. He was with us every step and made our entire trip very easy and comfortable. I would 100% recommend Suman as a guide and Himalayan Leisure and Upendra to book your next trip to Nepal! they were both fantastic and next time i come back to Nepal I will be booking with Upendra again!”
2-man trek with Suman and Thakur
Scott Lyons From United Kingdom UK At

“Honestly, it's hard to put a trek like this into words: they rarely do proper justice to experiences such as this one. The trek could not have gone better. Of course our guide, Suman, and our porter, Thakur, were helpful and accommodating - no, beyond merely helpful and accommodating - but I can almost guarantee you that you will find this sort of selflessness across a plethora of trekking companies in Nepal. So, what separates Himalayan Leisure from the rest? It is their willingness to go that extra mile: from the off, our 'middleman', Upendra, flew in from SINGAPORE to greet us at the airport!! That's already ridiculous but, to add, throughout the trek, we could not have been in safer or kinder hands. In hindsight, I definitely took wayyy too much and Thakur was the one who had to pay the hefty price; however, despite carrying not only my small suitcase but also my friend's backpack, not once did he complain. In fact, he was as cheery as cheery could be. By the end of the trip, we had all become very friendly. The four of us played cards most nights and shared some great laughs and experiences together.

I reiterate: I have not done this trek and the people involved justice; however, to put it candidly, if you want a trek with great experiences/sights, you can get that practically anywhere; if you want a trek guided and organised by great people with the great experiences/sights that you get almost by default, I urge you to choose Himalayan Leisure... and ask Upendra for Suman and Thakur!

P.S. Although I'm sure everyone he hires will be great!”
Good to know According to the Nepal Immigration rules, there needs to be minimum of 2 foreigners to obtain Immigration permits for restricted area trekking such as Manaslu Circuit Trek however we can try to find group joining trips with other people if you are single traveler although we can't promise that we will be able to get your permits if you are single trekker.
Cancellation Free cancellation up to 60 days prior departure, after which the deposit becomes non-refundable.
