The hot, humid weather that Brazil experiences in summer begin to wane in April as the country moves into the dry season. The coastal regions enjoy long, sunny days with clear blue skies and warm weather, while the southern parts of the country begin to get a bit cooler.

Average daily temperatures range between 18°C and 26°C, which makes for ideal sightseeing and hiking weather, however, there is a 41% chance of daily rain in April.  April is a pleasant time to visit Brazil if you enjoy exploring cities and sightseeing or spending relaxing days on the beach. • São Paulo Fashion Week: Mingle with Brazil’s fashionistas at what is known as “Latin America's pre-eminent fashion event,” which is held semi-annually in São Paulo. Outside the big four fashion weeks in New York, London, Paris, and Milan, this event is fast becoming one of the highlights on the fashion calendar.
• See tree-climbing jaguars in the Amazon: April is the best month to see this amazing phenomenon. With the floor of the Amazon flooded after the rainy season, these agile cats take to the trees to avoid the water and it’s a rare and spectacular sight if you are lucky enough to one.

With the weather being slightly cooler, and the madness of carnival season over, Brazil’s beaches and main cities can be a bit quieter this time of year, making it a great time for both exploring and relaxing.
