Brazil Weather in April
The hot, humid weather that Brazil experiences in summer begin to wane in April as the country moves into the dry season. The coastal regions enjoy long, sunny days with clear blue skies and warm weather, while the southern parts of the country begin to get a bit cooler.
Average daily temperatures range between 18°C and 26°C, which makes for ideal sightseeing and hiking weather, however, there is a 41% chance of daily rain in April. It is still the rainy season in the depths of the Amazon and the Pantanal, meaning April might not be the best time for jungle adventures.

- Easter celebrations in Ouro Preto in Minas Gerais: Dating back to 1698 and one of the most notable customs of Holy Week, this colorful festival sees the laying of carpets in the streets of Ouro Preto.
- International Art Festival of São Paulo: Take in some awe-inspiring artworks at this world-renowned art festival which takes place in the first week of April. Renowned art galleries showcase over 2,000 works from both emerging and established artists in a wide variety of mediums.
