Now that winter is coming to an end, it is time for you to award yourself with a wonderful vacation! March is a great time to travel, as the weather is pleasant almost all across the globe. So, what new place do you want to explore this month? Somewhere with a lot of history? A place full of beautiful sandy beaches? Vietnam

Vietnam’s beauty is best explored in March, when the country enjoys its best weather. There’s dazzling sunshine, with no humidity or rains, making this the best time to travel to the country. Explore the colonial architecture in Ho Chi Minh city, meditate in one of Hanoi’s pagodas, or sail across the Mekong river. For a truly immersive Vietnamese experience, drive up the coast to Khoai Chau, where the magical Chu Dong Tu festival takes place in March, with its dragon processions and amazing food!

Belize

For those trying to escape the grey and dull winter, there is no destination like Belize. This sunny, bright country will awaken your senses, and make you glad to be alive! Belize enjoys a lot of sunshine in March, and little to no rainfall, which makes it the ideal beach destination for the month! Book yourself into one of the local resorts by the beach, and go snorkeling, and swimming in the warm blue oceans the entire day. Make sure you don’t miss out on Ambergris Caye, from where you can go diving in the Belize Barrier Reef!

Ireland’s beauty is absolutely incomparable, especially as spring descends on the country. March is a wonderful time for you to take a road trip across the rolling fields. Make sure you stop by the local pubs for the best brew of your life (after all, nobody knows how to brew like the Irish). March is the ideal time to visit this beautiful Asian destination. The weather will be dry, and there are numerous festivals for you to enjoy, starting with the Balinese New Year. This is followed by Galungan, the country’s biggest festival of the year (held in the last week of March). Bali has something for everybody. It’s a cultural hub, with spectacular religious structures, beautiful forests and national parks, and incredible nightlife.
