My friend and I really enjoyed our trip. The local travel expert did a fantastic job selecting the hikes and the accommodations. The landscapes along the trails were superb. The hiking directions and maps were very good, easy to follow. The accommodations were comfortable. Large, clean rooms, lots of hot water for showers. The breakfasts were good, with large portions, and varied. The transfers to and from the trailheads were right on time. Overall a hassle free, well executed itinerary.
This was our first ever cycling holiday. My husband and I are fairly fit but not cyclists. I worried I would not cope but just having some base fitness from three to four gym sessions a week was enough to get me through.
From start it finish this trip surpassed my expectations. From the brilliant support crew and leader, Son, the seemless organisation, high standard of hotels, great food using often local family restaurants, beautiful countryside, Friendly people, and a wonderful group of travelleres to share the experience with.
Croatia: Islands and Mountains This was my first tour with Exodus, my first visit to Croatia and I enjoyed every moment. Our leader Zeljko was brilliant, we had a very friendly and fun group of people, the scenery was breath-taking, the hiking interesting and varied, Dubrovnik was fascinating, the Croatian people charming, the hotels excellent and the local food delicious. I could not have wished for a better experience.
