Historical Japan with Hiroshima

This is a nine-day trip around Japan's historical cities, namely Osaka, Miyajima, Kyoto, and Tokyo. Along the journey, you will also stop at Hiroshima. The tour, which starts in Osaka and ends in Tokyo, is designed to show you the enduring essence of Japan of the old.

Start in Osaka, where you will get a glimpse of what the streets looked like during the Edo Period at the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living. Next, travel to Hiroshima by Shinkansen to learn about the history of the nuclear attack during World War II and spot the floating torii gate of the Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island.

While in ancient Kyoto, walk along the path consisting of numerous vermeil torii gates inside Fushimi Inari Shrine. Spend a night in the Hakone area and explore on your own with Hakone Free Pass. At the last stop, Tokyo, you will have a unique tea ceremony experience in a teahouse.
