This tour will take you on a personalized discovery of the legendary medieval prince Vlad the Impaler whose story inspired the mythical Dracula. Our proposal for you is an honest history tour that follows the medieval traces of Vlad the Impaler with an added twist of history versus fiction, what’s true and what’s not in the legend of Dracula. The tour will take you across centuries of history, from Bucharest up to the mythical landscapes of Transylvania where so much of the Dracula legend is placed.

Considered to be one of the greatest medieval heroes in the history of the country, praised for his battles against the expanding Ottoman Empire, Vlad the Impaler (Vlad Tepes in Romanian) is known for drastically punishing traitors, often by impaling them, a practice not very unusual in his time.

This tour is also suited for families and seniors.
