“Doing the Everest Base Camp trek was one of the coolest experiences of my life! The trail and trekking culture is one that you will never forget! I specifically want to call out our guide. I got sick half way and he took such good care of me. He has over 15 years of experience and it definitely showed. He also made the trip so fun and light and was always cracking jokes. “During the first phase of the Great Himalaya Trail Trek, which was from Kanchenjunga South Base Camp to Makalu Base Camp, we encountered breathtaking landscapes and difficult terrain. The sherpas who accompanied us were invaluable, sharing their knowledge and expertise and adding cultural richness to our adventure. They pointed out hidden waterfalls and offered valuable insights, making the journey both physically challenging and culturally enriching. As we continued on to the next phase of the trek, from Makalu Base Camp to Everest Base Camp, the scenery became even more awe-inspiring. The towering peaks of the Himalayas surrounded us, their snow-capped summits glistening in the sunlight. We navigated through rocky terrain and crossed icy rivers, relying on our sherpa guides to lead the way. Their unwavering support and encouragement motivated us to push through the physical challenges and reach new heights. Each day brought new experiences and opportunities for personal growth, strengthening our bond as a team and deepening our appreciation for the natural beauty of the region.”
