Mont Blanc Circuit - Quick and Light(ish)
5 - Excellent

“A fast and (preferably) light tour around the iconic Mont Blanc Massif. With an emphasis on seeing the highlights of the Mont Blanc circuit, you can definitely expect your moneys worth of walking when trying to cover as much of the amazing scenery as this trip takes in.”
Challenging but rewarding

“This was only our second walking holiday after doing the Inca trail the year before so we are fsirly new to walking holidays. Found the first day fairly difficult but soon got into the swing of it and loved it!! The hardest part was walking with the pack on your back so pack light! However, being able to do the circuit point to point, experiencing a range of accommodation with such stunning views made this so worth while.”
Trafalgar is Amazing!

“Our tour group was the last to go before another European shut-down. Trafalgor was amazing in rerouting the tour, staying a step ahead of the covid restrictions and keeping us safe and happy. Although we were not able to go to the places were expecting to go due to government restrictions, there were many upgrades along the way. Our tour director was amazing, well versed in European history, and handled all of the unexpected changes with grace and a sense of humor. We could not have asked for a better outcome and I would absolutely trust Trafalgor again to handle the complexities of traveling with covid restrictions in play.”

Travel Tips

  • Taking a train is a great way to see as much beautiful Swiss scenery as possible. Train links entirely cover the small country, and some of the most scenic routes include the Glacier Express and the Bernina Express.
  • Many tourists are surprised to find out they can't use their euros in Switzerland (except in some large cities). Be sure to bring some Swiss Francs with you on your travels.
  • Switzerland is not the destination for a budget traveller. Food and accommodation can be pricey and exchange rates are rarely favourable.
  • Swiss hot chocolate is the best in the world. Don’t miss it.
  • The Swiss are very environmentally friendly and expect everyone to recycle, including visitors. Take the time to figure out what bin is for what type of waste to avoid being called out by the locals, and don’t be afraid to ask if unsure.
  • The Swiss are very, very punctual. That includes their public transportation: trains, cable cars and buses all leave promptly on time. Don't be late!
