A true African safari
5 - Excellent
  • Dominic Heige
“We went on a migration safari in Tanzania last August and we have to thank our travel company and local guide in particular for the Services we experienced. Everyone associated with this companyis kind, have willingness, a seriousness and a truly unique professionalism. We visited the parks of Northern Tanzania, the Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti NP, Lake Natron and the Ngorongoro Crater. We stayed in fantastic tented camps and in really excellent lodges where the quality of food, service and staff were superb. We were also quite lucky both in terms of quality and quantity of sightings, especially in Serengeti plains where we witnessed migration river crossing. In conclusion, we strongly recommend choosing this tour to anyone who wants to experience a true African Safari.”

“Our trip to Tanzania was well curated by this company. From our first chats with Joan, we felt comfortable to proceed with booking with this company. Booking with local company makes us feel the great contribution to the local economy. Our guide was very helpful and informative, he did everything he could to make us comfortable and informed. The safari camp, Suenos was best and in the center of wilderness, with greater views of wildlife. It was amazing to here the sound of animals at mid-night and we will never forget this experience. One thing of note is flexibility the company have on planing of our trip. We will get back to this company again and again when we travel to Tanzania again. Thanks to Brian, Judith and our travel planner Joan, we enjoyed every moment with you guys in Tanzania.”

  • Plan your visit to Serengeti from January to March for the wildebeest calving season and from May to July for the annual wildebeest migration.
  • Tanzania is a malaria-risk country, so visit your doctor before your trip to get anti-malaria medication. Also, always carry insect repellent and sleep under a mosquito net while camping.
  • When packing for your Serengeti safari holiday, pack lightweight, earth-toned clothing to blend with the environment so you do not disturb the wildlife or get noticed while on a walking safari.
  • Embrace early morning and late afternoon game drives for the best chances of spotting elusive predators and witnessing breathtaking Tanzanian sunrises and sunsets.
