This fantastic tour to South Korea and Japan begins in the charming capital city of Seoul, wherein you take the subway to reach City Hall and see the tsunami-shaped building and Deoksugung Palace, known as the Palace of Virtue and Longevity. The next day, enjoy a guided tour of Changdeokgung Palace, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, War Memorial, to learn about the Korean War and more in Seoul. Continue your journey to 600-year-old Gyeongbokgung Palace, followed by leaving for SUWON, the former capital of Korea. Here, you will visit the iconic Samsung Innovation Museum and finally move towards the final destination of the day, Jeonju. Stroll in the old town of Jeonju, dotted with traditional houses and restaurants. The next day, leave for Busan while stopping at Haeinsa, an 802 Buddhist temple and Museum of Oriental Medicines in Daegu. The following day, visit Haedong Yonggung, a beautiful Buddhist Temple, located by the sea, and Yongdusan Park to see the 120m tall pagoda. Later in the day, take an overnight ferry to Shimonoseki, Japan, as your trip to South Korea ends here. As soon as you reach Shimonoseki the next day, leave for Iwakuni and see the iconic Kintai-Kyo Bridge, followed by taking a ferry to Miyajima and visiting the Itsukushima shrine dedicated to the guardian of seas. Continue to Hiroshima and see the Peace Memorial Park and Museum to learn about the 1945 nuclear bomb tragedy. The following day, leave Hiroshima and travel to Matsuyama, where you will visit the magnificent Matsuyama castle, ending the day with a hot spring bath in Dogo Onsen. The next day, your tour continues to Kobe, stopping at Kotohira temple- a Shinto shrine reached only after climbing 785 steps and the Great Naruto Bridge. Continue your journey to Mount Koya, one of the sacred mountains in Japan. Attend a meditation session, spend a night at the monastery, and experience life as monks live. The next day, leave for Kyoto, Japan's ancient capital, and visit the Shinto Shrine of Fushimi Inari, the Imperial Palace, and the ancient Kinkakuji temple. Travel to Tokyo the following day via bullet train and experience the nightlife in the Shinjuku district. Spend time in Tokyo exploring important shrines like Zojini Temple, Meiji Temple, and Sensoji Temple, and other landmarks like the Imperial Palace and Nijubashi Bridge.
