COVID VACCINATION POLICY
Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is no longer mandatory on departures after 1st January 2023. Nonetheless, all travellers are strongly advised to be vaccinated as a safety measure to protect themselves and others on the tour. This policy excludes all Polar trips and select adventure cruises, where testing and vaccination are required.
Also, proof of vaccination may still be required at specific entry points or by the airlines. Therefore, please make sure to check all the travel requirements carefully before travelling.

This tour offers a twin share option where solo travellers will be paired with other similar travellers of the same gender in a room. If such twin share options are fully booked/unavailable for your chosen departure date you will be offered either a single room at an additional fee, if available, or a full refund.
COVID-19 Safety Measures
No additional cancellation fees apply for this Newfoundland & Wild Labrador: A Torngat Mountains Adventure tour. You can cancel the tour up to 58 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 57 days of departure.
PaymentFor any tour departures within 25 June 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 25 June 2024, a deposit of 400 USD is required to confirm the tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 57 days before trip departure.

Is this trip right for you- Temperatures in the Arctic can be freezing. It can also get surprisingly warm when the sun comes out or with increased physical activity. It’s best to dress in layers when you journey outside. You’ll be provided with waterproof boots that are sturdy and warm. Please see the trip notes for information about what to bring.
- Polar bears are one of the most incredible animals on the planet but are also powerful predators with little fear of humans. Therefore, knowing the guidelines surrounding any contact with polar bears is necessary. Follow your leader’s instructions and do not stray from your group – your leader carries equipment to protect you. We may need to adjust our plans to visit alternate Arctic landing sites.
- Weather and sea ice play a pivotal part in this adventure, and although there’s an itinerary in place, there are no guarantees that you’ll be able to do everything planned. Flexibility and openness to embracing the unexpected are important in expedition travel, especially in remote areas.
