Grab your rental car and set out to explore the Reykjanes Peninsula, known for its exotic volcanoes, heightened geothermal activity, and jaw-dropping lava fields. Visit Vik, an enchanting village home to a world-famous black sand beach, and set out to explore Hofn, a coastal town with incredible coastal views and seaside cuisine. Next, you will travel to Egilsstadir located near Iceland’s largest forest, known for its steep mountain hills and breathtaking waterfalls, and see the pseudocraters of Skutustadir and the Laxa River in Myvatn.
