Mexico’s large, bustling cities are a tour de force centuries in the making, where suited business people rub shoulders with mariachi bands, glass and steel towers share blocks with historic wonders, and tasty street food sits side by side with internationally-acclaimed restaurants.
“Only one night in guatamala and one in Honduras could easily have been two. Some of the excursions were not available especially for the last day Escazu. I have stayed an extra day to be sure this excursion didn’t interfere with return plans. Overall, I would recommend this for active people”

“This is my first group trip. I am a woman and I travel alone. The tour offered culture and nature. I am interested in arts and crafts, so I saw some relevant museums. The social unity of the group was good. The hotels were fine. The trip is recommended.”

“We had a wonderful tour with Nathan Hernandez in Mexico City. He was very informative about all the places we went and gave us excellent information about Mexico and the pyramids of Teothicouan. Our day together in Mexico City was great and once again we were taken to many places and everything was explained. He answered every question we asked and really knew the subjects. He was also very conscious of our ages and made sure we did not attempt any difficult walks. We highly recommend him and his company.”
Top Cities to Visit in Mexico
Hit the streets of the colonial treasure trove of Oaxaca City. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, the city’s long avenues of attractive Spanish-era buildings are a photographer’s delight while the collections in its museums include silver, gold, and jewelry hundreds of years old.
The options in Mexico City are as broad as the city is large! History buffs will adore the intricate architecture of the Downtown area in particular, while for art lovers there’s the former home of Freida Kahlo. What’s more, its nightlife spans the traditional (wrestling) and the contemporary.
Travel west to Guadalajara, the home turf of mariachi bands. Many city sightseeing tours in Mexico veer towards the historic downtown area, where you’ll find the Hospicio Cabanas (one of the oldest and largest hospitals in the Americas), but the city also has one of Mexico’s largest shopping malls.
