The sunset game drive was incredible, as the golden sun dipped below the horizon, we found ourselves surrounded by the enchanting sounds of nature. The air was filled with the calls of birds, the distant roar of lions, and the rustling of leaves as animals emerged for their evening activities. “I just finished a climb to Kilimanjaro through the Machame route with this local tour operator. The travel guide and his team cared perfectly for us—even on some rainy days. There was always hot tea on the way and a bed-bottle at night. The food was amazing—fresh fruit and veggies every day. And we all made it to the summit—first group and right in time for sunrise.
