“We travelled to Morocco in Early October on the Morocco Explorer with this tour company. We have travelled with it before in Peru and also the Larapinta Trail. From our previous experience we did not consider any other tour company. You can be guaranteed everything will run like clockwork. Our guide Mohamed was passionate about his countrys history and culture. Fluent in his native Berber, he spoke Arabic, English and French. He had a very special rapport with all of the accommodation providers, local guides and was so professional at all times. The Moroccan Explorer was a perfect way to get a good taste of the country and its many and varied landscapes. I think the highlight for us was sitting on top of a sand dune in the Sahara watching the sun rise. We climbed upon our camels in the dark and rode through the sand dunes led by our Berber camel driver. The last dune was too steep for our camels so on foot we climbed the last dune to sit and witness the sunrise. Just awesome! I highly recommend this 11 day adventure in Morocco to give a real understanding of this rich countrys history and culture and its beautiful people.”

“Morocco was a total surprise. So much of it was green and under cultivation. I discovered that agriculture was their number 1 industry followed by tourism. So lots of tourists, but lots to see and do. The riads we stayed in were amazing. You walked in through their door from the narrow alleyways of the old city, and it was like walking into an Aladdin's cave. Very comfortable and the food was delicious. Ibrahim, our guide, made sure that our trip ran like clockwork, and we learnt a lot about the different areas of the country. Overall a very enjoyable experience. The tour operator also organized 2 little side trips for me to Essaouira and Chefchaoen, which I also enjoyed immensely.”
