Start in Casablanca and end in Marrakech, the "Morocco Explorer" trip is a guided adventure trip that takes 12 days. You will travel through Ouarzazate, Rabat, Volubilis and 9 other destinations in Morocco. "Morocco Explorer" is a small group trip which includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

A cultural journey exploring the highlights of Morocco. Overflowing with rich cultural traditions, history and stunning architecture Morocco's imperial cities provide the framework for our journey. Explore Rabat, Meknes and the colourful markets and intricate laneways of the medieval medina in Fes. We also take a fascinating deviation to Chefchaouen, a gorgeous mountain city in northeastern Morocco with its distinctive blue-washed homes and a Mediterranean theme, before travelling across the foothills of the Middle Atlas. A natural divide between coast and desert influences, the other side of the mountains yields the distinctive architecture of kasbahs (ancient fortresses) and the deep orange colours of the dunes on the edge of the Sahara Desert captivate our attention. Our trip concludes in Marrakesh, one of the most important artistic centres in the Islamic world, where there is time to bargain in the souqs showcasing a wide variety of handicrafts and food. This trip is a true journey of contrasts and discovery.

“Morocco was a total surprise. So much of it was green and under cultivation. I discovered that agriculture was their number 1 industry followed by tourism. So lots of tourists, but lots to see and do. The riads we stayed in were amazing. You walked in through their door from the narrow alleyways of the old city, and it was like walking into an Aladdin's cave. Very comfortable and the food was delicious. Ibrahim, our guide, made sure that our trip ran like clockwork, and we learnt a lot about the different areas of the country. Overall a very enjoyable experience. World Expeditions also organized 2 little side trips for me to Essaouira and Chefchaoen, which I also enjoyed immensely.”

“We had a fabulous time. World Expeditions did us proud. We did a private tour of this trip and you planned, organised and supported us wonderfully - the trip was exactly what we had dreamed of. But what brought it to fruition was the exceptional experience, warmth and knowledge of our wonderful guide, Redoune. He really made it the success it was, what an asset he is to World Expedition. Once again, thank you for this terrific holiday. And just to let you know, we heard so much excellent feedback about World Expeditions from locals.”

“We travelled to Morocco in Early October on the Morocco Explorer with World Expeditions. We have travelled with World Ex before in Peru and also the Larapinta Trail. From our previous experience we did not consider any other tour company. You can be guaranteed everything will run like clockwork. Our guide Mohamed was passionate about his countrys history and culture. Fluent in his native Berber, he spoke Arabic, English and French. He had a very special rapport with all of the accommodation providers, local guides and was so professional at all times. The Moroccan Explorer was a perfect way to get a good taste of the country and its many and varied landscapes. I think the highlight for us was sitting on top of a sand dune in the Sahara watching the sun rise. We climbed upon our camels in the dark and rode through the sand dunes led by our Berber camel driver. The last dune was too steep for our camels so on foot we climbed the last dune to sit and witness the sunrise. Just awesome! I highly recommend this 11 day adventure in Morocco to give a real understanding of this rich countrys history and culture and its beautiful people.”
