HIGHLIGHTS
  • Discover rural life in Hoi An’s countrysideHoi An
  • Sample traditional Vietnamese cuisine
  • Explore the Citadel and ancient tombs from the famed Nguyen Dynasty
Dive into Central Vietnam’s major Unesco World Heritage Sites in Hoi An and Hue on this 6-day cultural journey. Start in the ancient town of Hoi An and its enchanting city center and tropical countryside before heading to the Hai Van Pass to the regal Hue, discovering crumbling tombs, forbidden cities, charming villages, and dreamy lagoons.

Hoi An is like a fairytale — its charms extend beyond the imagination. Designated a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1999, this ancient trading port sports European, Vietnamese, Japanese, Dutch, and Chinese architecture peeking out between boutique artisanal shops, vintage historic houses, and picturesque cafes. In the evening, hanging lanterns illuminate the streets while floating paper baskets holding candlelight drift down the river. Since Hoi An is just one of a few port cities that survived the Second Indochinese War unscathed, it has become a unique gem in Vietnam’s tourism crown, allowing visitors to glimpse at Vietnam from another time period.

While the old town is a dream, Hoi An has plenty more to offer visitors, from funky beaches and exceptional food to vibrant countryside and artistic traditions.

Formerly the seat of power as well as the political, cultural, and religious center of Vietnam from 1802–1945, Hue’s imperial capital was badly damaged after the fall of the Americans during the 2nd Indochinese War. However, with a little bit of imagination and time spent, the city will unfold and blossom before your eyes like a lotus pond in spring, revealing a destination filled to the brim with historical wonders and authentic experiences.

As Anthony Bourdain once said, “All the senses are engaged here.” So come and see what he meant – whether it’s part of a much longer Vietnam tour or an in-depth Hue city exploration, we’ve got you covered!
