“It was our 9th cycling trip by this tour operator for me and my wife and we have chosen Bosnia and Montenegro because it was Moderate/Challenging (and that didn't disappoint). We had lovely Sabina guiding us (she rode with us all the way including supporting us on the tough climbs) as well as Sasa (an ex-downhill MTB racer) fixing our bikes/nice picnic lunches and following us in the van to make sure we are okay. We went through beautiful country as well as lots of interesting visits (the wine was surprisingly good!). We stayed at nice hotels (beach resort, ski lodges and hotels in middle of the old towns) and had great tasting and very reasonably priced food. Did I say cycling is great too?”

“This trip was graded as moderate/challenging and that was spot on! Apart from the first day, every day involved hill climbs and some steep descents. The scenery was magnificent and was ever changing. No one day was the same and my breath was taken away at every twist and turn in the road. Some of the off road section are not for the feint hearted but are easily negotiable with care. Cycling was a fantastic way to see these fabulous countries. A mix of culture was added to the pot through local cuisine and wine tasting.”

“The trip started badly because I was travelling with a bicycle and had informed the local travel specialist 5 months ago before I booked. They said no problem but 2 days before the tour told me that they couldn't transport my bicycle and to make my own arrangements. So get confirmation in writing for any additional requests. My family was the only ones on the tour. We had an excellent driver who although wasn't a licensed guide was very knowledgeable. He was also always thinking of ways to allow us to have a better holiday. Last but not least he had a great and sunny personality which made interaction with him a real pleasure.”
