The local guides and our rep worked very hard to ensure all our tour was a success. This was Expat's first Caucasus tour and timings did not always work to plan but this was not an major issue. Expect the tour to be fairly intense but we had two 77 year olds on the tour who put the rest of us to shame. Age group was mostly 50 plus. My concern was the atrocious service by Expat head office, don't expect them to fulfill any commitments they make, if we had not taken matters into our own hands half the tour would still be sat in various hotels in Baku waiting for Expat to get back to them re correct hotels and arrange transfers. As such I could not recommend Expat to friends

This is a good 12 day tour exploring the newly opened countries to tourism. I enjoyed company of other travellers and tour guide. Good food, good spots to see and nice night life to enjoy.

Life changing, rewarding and eye opening. I would recommend this tour and tour leader to any butting globe trekker. Everything that I believe expat explore had control over was second to none. Anyone with significant mobility issues would struggle and possible have to skip certain sights. That saying our group dynamic was from 30 - 75 years old and managed most of the time. This tour consists of many short uphill walks/ climbs to sights with very few areas with disability assistance such as ramps or hand rails. There are slip hazards and ancient unsteady foot paths. Anyone with significant food allergies or intolerances would struggle. Bread, meat and cheese was the staple with the vegetarian options sparse and often with high fodmap. So this would be so thing to think about before booking. I would recommend this trip and this company to anyone. I can't wait to book again.
