“Marcus and I thoroughly enjoyed the Mexico City to Riviera Maya: An Odyssey Through Mexican Wonder tour with Sal as our tour leader. Along the trip, we saw some incredible natural sites and interesting historical sites and tasted local delicacies that we wouldn’t be able to get anywhere else (such as sweets in Puebla, mezcal, cactus, traditional Mexican tacos). We had some truly off-the-beaten-track experiences. Some highlights for us were the cenotes, Hierve el Agua, Agua Azul, Teotihuacan and Palenque. Sal was enthusiastic, friendly and shared his knowledge with us about the local customs and history. When Marcus and I were sick, Sal took us to the local doctor and pharmacy and helped translate for us. This would have been a stressful experience without his assistance.
