Starting in Berlin and ending in Venice, the "Real Central Europe" tour is a guided city sightseeing trip that takes 15 days. You will visit Bled, Budapest, Krakow and 5 other destinations in 7 different countries. "Real Central Europe" is a small group tour which will include accommodation, transport, meals and others. Beginning in Germany and ending in Italy, this 15-day trip hits a whopping seven countries (without rushing them). You’ll see historic landmarks, medieval squares, hilltop castles, romantic canals and thriving nightlife as you make memories that last a lifetime. Beginning in Europe’s alt-capital, Berlin, walk the ‘Royal Route’ in Krakow, soak up the terracotta views of Prague and Cesky Krumlov, be charmed by picturesque Lake Bled and finish up among the postcard-perfect canals of Venice. No additional cancellation fees apply for this Real Central Europe tour. You can cancel the tour up to 58 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 57 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 06 July 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 06 July 2024, a deposit is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 57 days before trip departure.

Travel Insurance

Real Central Europe tour requires that you have adequate and valid travel insurance covering medical and personal accidents, including repatriation costs and emergency evacuation. World Nomads offers travel insurance for independent travelers and intrepid families.

Is this trip right for you

The best way to experience a city is by doing as the locals do – that means using public transport such as trams, trains, buses and metro at some locations. You’ll get an authentic look at daily life but be aware you may find yourself sharing a busy bus ride with local commuters. The trains used on this trip are comfortable, and all have toilets but can also be very busy.
Europe is steeped in history, which means sometimes the infrastructure is old. Often there are no lifts or escalators, particularly in some train stations or hotels. The cobblestone streets, narrow steps and tiny bridges of Europe are very romantic but they’re also a good reason to pack light and leave the wheeling suitcase at home. You may have to carry your bags up and down stairs, as well as some short distances to the hotel (no longer than 30 minutes). Make sure it doesn’t exceed our weight and size recommendations – check the 'Packing' section of the Essential Trip Information.
Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be very high in Europe, making things uncomfortable. It’s essential to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat and drink plenty of water.
It’s bunking season! As some accommodation on this trip is twin or multi-share, solo travellers will share a room with other travellers of the same gender, an excellent opportunity to get to know other like-minded people. A single supplement is unavailable on this trip as space is at a premium in Europe, and your hotel is no exception. For those travelling as a pair, European hotels often don't have double beds, but rather two single beds that can be pushed together.

COVID VACCINATION POLICY

Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is no longer mandatory on departures after 1st January 2023. Nonetheless, all travellers are strongly advised to be vaccinated as a safety measure to protect themselves and others on the tour. This policy excludes all Polar trips and select adventure cruises, where testing and vaccination are required.

Also, proof of vaccination may still be required at specific entry points or by the airlines. Therefore, please make sure to check all the travel requirements carefully before travelling.
