“I loved this trip, and seeing, climbing and then flying over the amazing dunes lived up to my expectations. Big bucket list tick for that. And the wildlife round and about, but especially in Etosha (particularly at the camp waterhole) was brilliant. Watching rhino's preliminary mating dance, elephants bathing and a stand off with a pride of lions, from a safe distance while supping red wine, was one of life's great experiences.”

“Six of us went on this trip - parents and offspring aged 14, 18, 21 and 23, and we all agree that it is one of the best experiences we have ever had. The Itinerary is well thought out and there is a good distribution of camping and non-camping days. All the campsites were interesting and all toilet and washing facilities were at least acceptable but usually excellent and spotless. Most of the campsites had swimming pools which were, um, refreshing! The Lodges were clean and comfortable and there were good facilities for charging electrical equipment at Lodges, campsites and even in the Van. These factors were not, of course, the highlights of the holiday but they helped to make it run smoothly as we are by no means hardened campers - we like our bit of adventure, but we like our warm showers as well!”

“I had an absolutely wonderful time on this trip. Namibia is an amazing country with some breathtaking views and wonderful wildlife. Given the small population, it also feels very wild and remote and it's very easy to get off the beaten track and find yourself with a huge African sky all to yourself. The camping is very comfortable - with fold up beds and sheets in tents you can easily stand up in. The food provided is excellent and varied. Camping is the only way to see Namibia I think as you spend the evenings looking at the stars over a beer, and the mornings having tea while the sun comes up over the mountains .. simply wonderful (and someone else puts up and takes down your tent for you).”
