“Very good holiday with excellent cycling routes, good quality bikesand some unique hotels. We did not realise that the Costa Brava had so many medieval villages relatively close to the coast.”

“Empord is a beautiful area to cycle in and not too challenging in terms of most of the terrain we covered. The towns are all old, with narrow streets hedged by old stone buildings, the air often scented with night blooming Jasmine, graced with ever present birdsong and peopled by courteous and gracious folks to help make your time even more enjoyable. Also terrific to be able to take in some amazing beaches with water swimmable (bit polar bearish in May). We enjoyed most of the food we had. Would encourage those particularly not interested in challenging routes to think seriously about this area.”
