Our guide, Pemba, was a gracious host and always willing to answer our questions. Highlights of the trek included learning how to cook momos, and especially the parts of the trek that were deep in the forest, away from people. “It was very easy to engage with this tour operator. Subash was able to customise our stay to ensure best use of the available time. We did a four hour tour around Darjeeling to the main sites. We followed with a day hike that was customized to suit our age (late 60s). A car trip to Gangtok included a visit to the Rumtek Monastery. We visited Gangtoks main sights, including the Museum of Tibetology, Enchey Monastery, the market and Tasha Viewpoint. Our guide Lama was excellent throughout, with very good English, extensive subject knowledge and a real concern for our comfort and well-being. Drivers were very good and their vehicles in excellent condition.”
