The Romanian countryside was beautiful and the walks varied, two of them were outstanding. Our hosts in the Pensions were welcoming and generous with the Polinka. The home cooked meals were fabulous. Not a trip for the pernickety, but a great adventure if you a happy to go with the flow.”

The whole experience was charming and fascinating and you learn much about Romania's proud ancient, medieval and more recent history and how, even now in the 21st Century, there are places which preserve very old architecture, traditions and way of life.”
