- Explore the beautiful and historic streets of Zanzibar's Stone Town
- Chill on the white sand Indian Ocean beaches of Zanzibar
- Camp on the stunning beaches of Lake Malawi
- Chill on lake Malawi's magnificent Kande Beach
A wonderful trip that connects Zanzibar and the Tanzanian Swahili Coast with the bustling city of Cape Town. This trip offers some of Africa's finest beaches from the white sands of Zanzibar, through to the shores of the beautiful Lake Malawi.
We visit some of Africa's best wildlife parks, such as South Luangwa, Chobe, Hwange and Etosha National Parks. But the two wildlife experiences, you will never forget, will be canoeing down through the Lower Zambezi region and walking with White Rhinos in Matobo National Park.
If you want spectacular scenery then this trip tops the bill and nowhere shows this more than the wonderful dune scapes of Namibia's Namib Desert and the vastness of the Fish River Canyon. If you are after wilderness, none is better that Botswana's incomparable Okavango Delta, which we will explore by dugout canoe. Finally, this journey has the greatest icon of them all, the incomparable Victoria Falls.
San rock-art and rhino hikes with a most excellent guide in Matobo Park. The great beobab trees. A camp very near the Orange River after 11 days of (beautiful) desert.”

Local Payment The local payment is a group fund, paid separately from the trip price on the first day of the tour. It covers everything that the group does together on the ground. This is primarily hotel accommodation and campsite fees, meals whilst camping (but not while eating in restaurants), and included activities and puts money directly back to the local community. The local payment, or kitty system, is unique to overlanding tours and provides maximum flexibility and best value on the road - you can see exactly what is being paid for, you get everything at cost price, it keeps costs competitive by leveraging group expenses and saves on administrative costs. The fund is run by the tour guide, and any excess left over at the end is returned equally to the group. Local prices are estimated in USD when we print the brochure then reviewed monthly as local costs and exchange rates vary throughout the year. It's therefore important once you book your trip to check the website regularly and just before departure for any changes to the amount.
