CARPATHIAN CULTURE AND WILDLIFE Carpathian Culture and Wildlife (May 2011) is a wonderful mix of visiting ridgetop villages and farms in the Transylvanian mountains, hikes up into the forests and pastures, nibbling on delicious fresh cheese at a shepherd's hut, and visits to other local highlights such as the lovely medieval architecture of Brasov and the castle known as Dracula's Castle which is surprisingly charming and lovely.
I cannot be more satisfied with this tour. Impecably organized but at the same time our guide Traian gave us the chance to make choices according to our preferences. Very intense tour due to the variety of activities, nevertheless Traian stayed always with us, something that I cannot say happened in other tours I have taken. Furthermore: what an awesome driver he was!!! All in all, it was a beautiful experience that I recommend wholeheartedly. Nicu will answer all your questions promptly. If I have to advise the readers I would say "take your time, and do the 4 days Transylvania experience . Immerse yourself into the culture, the landscapes, the tradition. It is so worthy!
Well organised trip, faultless hosts at Villa Hermani and an excellent leader in Sebi. The scenery was amazing and the walks were all excellent and well paced for our group. The bear watching in the hide was outstanding.
