Easy flat riding passing through quite a few varying towns and cities. Great road condition, no worries about traffic. Opted for the gravel bike upgrade- highly recommend to make the longer rides more comfortable. Accommodation satisfactory. If you’re looking for a unique cultural experience in an area not yet overpopulated with tourists, highly recommend!
Perfect combination of the city sightseeing and enjoying nature I am very grateful to Valdis for leading our hike through the Gauja National Park near Sigulda. It was the perfect combination of the city sightseeing and enjoying nature. Valdis made stops at the most remarkable objects both in the city and in nature and told the most important things, which were neither too much nor too little. He really took good care of the group.
This was a perfect way for an active family to spend a holiday. Everything was well thought out from the bikes, the routes and accomodation. At approx 60k a day, distances were spot on (and less to start with) allowing for stops along the way in interesting towns and nice picnic lunches. Food/eating out in both Lithuania and Latvia fab and inexpensive. We shortened the last day with a train ride to allow time in Riga which was a good way to end the holiday. Good value when everything provided and peace of mind taken into account. Remember to put swimsuits in panniers for first few days and try the Latvian cider!
